5150 Stealth EL34 version?

Maybe tweak the Plexi 100w model? I think it will get you closer to what you're after. The 5150iii has a more modern flavor. That's just my opinion though! :-)

Marshall Plexi 1959 Axe-Fx Ultra

If only it could load more than 10 IRs and have a usb to usb connection, plus a stable Axe Edit. I would have definitely kept it to be honest.

Thank you for your feedback guys! An AX8 is suited more to my needs than the III to be honest, so even if I had the money I would still go for the pedalboard format. When the time comes I'll probably try it with both FRFR and cab setups in order to decide which one is more suited to my needs...

Amp simulator vs “the real thing” argument

I'm mostly using Mercuriall Spark for some reamping and practicing when I'm bored to switch on my amp, it's a great plugin for Marshall tones. It's definitely a step to the right direction.
