Timeout and Freezing Issue

Hi Brad My configuration is the same as yours, Axe FXII MKI, MFC-101 MKIII, XA-1 FASLINK™ Adapter, and from time to time it got these timeout and freezing issue too. All is build into a rack, so usually i don´t have to plug the cat5 cable. What helps everytime (for me) is shutting down, reset...

Going wireless worth the switch?

I´m using a G30 with two transmitters (two guitars) into one receiver. Changing guitars is one button off and one on, works really good. I remember, when i was switching to wireless, it took some weeks to get rid of that funny behaviour trying to kick the cable out of my feet...

Is it Possible to Create a Preset That is Tuned Down by 1/2 Step?

I don't think you are missing something. You can't avoid getting louder by increasing the drive's output level, without making a second change anywhere else in the chain. But aren't scenes that magic help, doing two (or more) changes in one step? For your needs you could compensate with the...

How many scenes you really use? Is 8 overkill?

5 scenes on the bottom row MFC in setlist mode, but banksize 1, this way i can scroll through the setlist seeing the songname and active the preset by pushing scene 1. My presets don´t have songnames, as i use them in more than one song, some are copies (or globals) with other or different...
