Midi pedal with screen above every switch...Does this exist?

Hey U2JustMe (sorry for the hijack), you ever consider making a more svelte version of your unit? The intel of your system impresses me but the footprint is, ummm sasquatchy. If you had one that could fit in a standard rack drawer that would be fab. :D

    Rock Candy

Thanks for listening mortega76! Loved that song when I was a teenager. I remember skippin' school, driving around in a buddies car, smokin' herb listening to that album on 8 track, which lessee, carry the 2 ... was a bout 400 hundred years ago.

    Rock Candy

Hey thanks JJ. To be honest it was just a stock, straight out of the can preset, #56 Mark IV Lead. As soon as I dialed it up it reminded me of Rock Candy so I started to try and figure out said lick from my vague recollection of it. Never thought of the Squire thing but your right -- I don't...

    Bestiality sound!!!!

Cool tone, too short. Like the sound / overtones on the last strum.

    Rock Candy

An old 70s tune. My first, and admittedly crude attempt at recording a quick sample with the AXE-FX as well as first attempt at recording with a ZOOM 16CD and transferring to PC. All firsts. Don't laugh, I don't even know why I ended up noodling on this song, never had before. Shrug. :oops...

    MFC101 pics!!!

For those interested in a smaller mfc there's also Mario's (Axess) MFC5 and Bradshaw's (CAE) RS-10 Mark II (I don't if the RS-5 ever came to fruition). MFC5: RS-10 Mark II:

    MFC101 pics!!!

Has anyone tried, or looked at the mastermind? It's a relatively cheap ($350 ish) small footprint mfc: Features: Program Change and Continuous Controller message support (4 PC and 8 CC messages per preset, all on different MIDI channels)[/*:m:yfrdmvwb] Expression pedal input[/*:m:yfrdmvwb]...

Idea For AXE FX midi controller, "with a twist!"

I think 5 things -- 1. Pretty cool, would be VERY useful. 2. Sounds like a variant of song mode. 3. Would need to use some RAM to cache the different logical groups me thinks. 4. If U2JustMe sees this he'll probably code it up in a couple days. 5. I wish my dreams were as productive, lately...

    MP3-Player -> Axe-FX for play along?

Eeeek! Wouldn't that sound like shit, i.e. the mp3 signal would be processed by the Axe-Fx? If I didn't have a K1 I'd use a headphone amp that takes multiple sources or a small mixer. Not intended to be a thread hijack but I have a K1: Sweet. :)

Axe-FX recordings as a preamp (in a room w/ power amp, cab)?

Having read a lot of the posts here and the original forum my take is that the majority of the folks that play live, and there are lots of 'em, go w/FRFR type speaker systems, ss powered or active same. I believe many folks started on a path just like you but sooner or later opt for ss power et...

Axe-FX recordings as a preamp (in a room w/ power amp, cab)?

If you're doing that because you the notion that it will sound better, or "more tubeish", the consensus is that you'd be wrong on both counts. If you're doing it so your tube friends will mock you less -- grow a pair. If you're doing it because that's the hardware you have right on. That said...

Puts on developer hat: Developers / manufactures are playing with so many variables in-house as well as out of house it's no wonder they can't / won't commit to concrete delivery dates. Puts on consumer hat: We wants our precious!
