The RC-XL20 Loop Station Saps My Axe

I have the same problem when I try to use my RC-2 in the loop. I guess I'll try Chad's approach because right now with the volume differences it has pretty much rendered the RC-2 useless.

It is possible you could be clipping the input of the looper causing a limiter to kick in. I'm not sure if the boss looper has that. Try placing the block before the amp to test. It is designed for a guitar level input. You are giving it a hot line level most likely. Yeah - I think you are...
