    Ah, I was using IRs from the get go. I don't find it any more cumbersome than the Axe FX 2 tbh, although I just have about 10 IRs that I'm familiar with and use across the board.

    I had a go last night. I am still missing the modern marshall high gain tones (JVM, HBE etc) a little. I hear an HBE is coming in the next update, and I got in the ballpark with the 5150. I had a positive first impression, gonna take the plunge.

    I have, just set the pedal to send out a MIDI PC on keypress. It's easy enough to program, do spend a few minutes reading the manual. Or for just PC, there's also a preset I think you can use to make life easy. I had mine set up so the the first 8 keys send PC changes, and I have two keys set up...

    I would get the plugin in a heartbeat. I'm also eyeing the Helix Native. I suspect if I go down the Native path, I may end up eventually selling the Axe FX II simply because the Helix is "good enough" for me and streamlines my workflow across recording/live in a single laptop.     Thanks ! I'm not much of a jazz player but was always a big fan of Pat Martino. I spent some 6 months getting his line shapes down and then adapted then for the chord progression and my personal taste. I've never written anything that involved before... Not sure how I'm going to top that...
