I dont know the exact topology of the amp - appart from it being a Mos-Fet design. I also cant comment on the voltage linear thing (didnt see that comment anywhere - a link?).
i do think its more scooped - though thats the wrong phrase really, more open is a better one (as in its uncongested rather than having frequencies scooped out) - than other SS I have personally tried. That would be a reasonalbe list but by no means exaustive.
i suggest you send Mat at Matrix an EMail and ask directly. Tell him I sent him your way and Im sure he will answer any Qs you have that their actually prepared to disclose.
