Matrix Q12a vs. RCF NX 10-SMA

The matrix is rather a cab than a monitor it can be used like a traditonal guitarcab, you put it behind you and it delivers enough highs to be used that way. Highs, pressure, wide dispersion, less lows, that's the Q12.
The NX is rather a monitor. It has fat lows but not that Q12 like highs, you would put it front of you and let it aim at your face. It's dispersion is more narrow.
What's better for you depends on how you want to use it.
None of them covers both situations best IMO.

I have only tried the NX12, but IMO Matrix beats the sh.. out of it in any way.
Backline, monitor you name it.
It is in a completelly different league.
NX12 is still good though.
IMO Matrix is a clear winner.

ole - it's not clear from this which one your prefer...?

Well Im not a tech guy, but the Q12 feel warmer and more alive.
The NX12 seem a bit more steril and a bit more HIFI.
The Q12 also have a better dispersion and it seems a bit louder.
All just IMO (exept the dispersion)
