Thank you for your concern. Since Im comparing two firmwares with the same preset, it shouldnt make a difference right. I did soft reset to amp block.I'll recheck the model but it should be accurate. If you read reviews of the amp the red channel is polarizing. The blue channel is universally liked, the red channel not so much.

That's one of the main reasons I went all digital. My Mesa Stiletto Ace combo was insanely heavy. Lugging that thing to gigs was the worst. Some of the amps I dread. Diezels in particular. The Herbert weighs a metric ton.
When I retire I might make tube amps as a hobby/side-job. I have a design that would yield a 50W tube amp that weighs less than 20 lbs.
Fun comparing this to your Bassman version.

Yea, this is the first time I've been okay with using the Tweed Deluxe for a Neil Young Tweed Deluxe sound!Fun comparing this to your Bassman version.
I really like it now with the Deluxe Tweed. ... also nice with the 59 Bassman Jumped. Great stuff!
I think the road king has 20 pounds of just knobs and switches on it.The roadking was the heavier head I owned, but the sound man

....That is a good question to me , knowing if Cygnus will need an other or few Betas ,there will be a second beta or the next thing will directly be the final version ?
thank you

Dirty Shirley 1 is actually the latest version of the amp. Both are updated.
Hahaha! Did I just read someone said “RETIRE”, Hahaha! we will hunt you down Cliff! Just kiddin’!Some of the amps I dread. Diezels in particular. The Herbert weighs a metric ton.

I dont see the Brit Pre or JMPre models on the list. I used the JMPre-OD1 as well for gigging. But the new Friedmans are killing it. I may be switching to them. Are the JMPre-1 OD1 and 2 and the Brit Pre Models Updated? These and the MESAs are the ones I utilize the most!
