Why most pedals these days do not come with power adapter?

What numbers should I be looking for? So that Voodoo Labs X4 is good for 4 pedals though?
The X4 has 4 power jacks...

The overall power requirement is dependent on the pedals you are powering.

You need to know the power requirement for each. Most basic pedals are probably around 100mA... Some are more and some are less.

Does it state on the manual?

What power it requires?
I'm asking which manual you are referring to.

Are you wanting to know how much power a specific pedal requires? If so, then most likely it is in the manual for the pedal. It is also usually on the bottom of the pedal or near the DC power jack.

A typical pedal might say something like: 9-12V DC 100mA

Dirt pedals usually draw very little power. It's why you could run them using batteries for like forever. It's the modulation, delays and especially the current digital pedals which consume power like crazy.

Pedal manual.

Is there a pedalboard that comes with a power block or it's always separate items?
