IIRC, rumor/lore is that V1 Was the original model. Some say it had a “dark sound“, and then someone at fractal mentioned that the tech who did the amp build smoked over 16 ounces of weed before he assembled it.

So Dave Friedman sent over version a few years later and Cliff modeled that. The V1 was left in the model library because it is loved by the community. So we win by having both.

Regular BE and HBE are the old Marsha amp.

V1 and V2 are the different positions of the voicing switch on the back of the amp. This the amp Mark Day owned. This is a newer, "proper" Friedman BE100.

2018 is the newest model.

The 'newest' model is the Deluxe which no one owns. It ships in May we were told now July.
Re voiced clean to get break up and MV's on al 3 ch's as well as independent ch volumes. Not sure if the gain will be any different.

Basically all the mods Dave offers in one amp
