    Petrucci Surrounded delay settings

    Hi
I am trying to copy the delay settings and the sound that Petrucci has on Surrounded on the last solo!
I set the delay to 250ms but really cant get that crazy repeating sound! It always feels that the delay is lacking some of the notes i play!
    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

i think he's doing the dual delay one like 400 the other 800 or something like that... would have to listen but he's known for doing the 2 delays.

    Re: Petrucci Surrounded delay settings

I saw in a youtube video one example of Petruccish sound with this settings:

Lead Sound - 602 and 460 millisecond delay with 3 repeats
    Crunch - 26 milliseconds delay

If anyone has more specific settings are welcome : )

yeah i would appreciate it if it was the delay setting for the last solo of surrounded!
Because i'm playing that song with my band and really don't think i have those effects nailed!

If i get a chance i'll try to record it

Do you play it at the original tempo ?
The repeated note is supposed to follow the picked one by 3/32nd note.
In my old song book tempo is at 82, so it should be something like 274 ms, one repeat.

Hi all, when someone gets this down, can we have it in the patch exchange? I am new to this site and am learning how all this works together, very cool!
    Thanks,

I tried with a couple of settings and none of them didn't sound right for me.
If any of you succeeds would also hear the secret formula
