Axe FX 2 Mark 1, MFC & GCX

This did not make any difference. I am still having a 1/2 second delay for the GCX to switch the amp. I can hear the dirty channel on the clean channel preset before the GCX switches the amp channel

Is there anyway to have the GCX change the amp channels on my Mesa Mark amps without a delay using my Axe FX 2 Mark 1 and MFC? It is my understanding that the AXE 2 XL has both a midi thru and out that has resolved this issue.

However, the MFC-101 can be programmed to send a MIDI CC to change a scene AND send additional MIDI data, for ex. to a GCX. Ya OK, well that's what I need to figure out then. Thanks

So...Now the FX8 is in peoples hands...what do you think?

So when I use my Mesa amps with my AXE FX II, I get a very low bleed through. Example, I can hear my guitar when the volume pedal is all the way down. Will I have the same issue with the FX8? If I recall, this was due to the Mesa Boogie's fx loop.

Is it possible to send each input to a separate amp? Example, I want to send the piezo direct to the PA and the magnetics to my power amp. At the same time I do not want to hear the piezo through my power amp and vise versa.

You would program the amp gizmo to set whatever channel on the Mark V you want on via midi, while at the same time switching the midi channels with the axe fx via the MFC

My Ultra did the same thing after a firmware update once. It was a corrupt eprom on mine. Support sent me a new one and has worked like a champ ever since. Good Luck

I also tried the 4 cable method with my Mark 4 rig and had major hiss issues. I would probably be able to deal with it but the gate has no effect to resolve the hiss. I am very disappointed with the outcome The axe sounds very good in the Mark's fx loop with no issues.
