    3 to 4db is right for lead boost. Found several db meters for the iPhone. Decibel 10th and JL Audio are two of them and both exceed 85db.

    Since the OwnHammer V2 IRs have come out they have rendered the mics in the box fairly irrelevant for me since they are all baked into the IRs or at least they are for my purposes. When I did use them the 421, 609, 57 and Neumann 87 were all goto mics for me but I no longer use any of them.
