    Wish HDMI

    I'm actually not concerned with Axe-Edit, I already have a little black box that converts USB to HDMI for my computer, so I have Axe-Edit covered on larger screen formats. What I'm interested in is EXPLODING that wonderful 4.25" x 2.625" screen on the face of the Axe-Fx onto a MUCH larger screen.

    You are correct the PS 200 does in fact have a CAB IR on/off switch as well as an EQ on/off switch right on the front panel. The EQ switch simply allows you to bypass the front panel EQ controls with a single button. As for the XLR to 1/4" converter it's really not needed, a simple 1/4" to 1/4"...

    I've used a pair of original EVM-12L OEM's in Mesa Thiele cabs for years with my Mesa amps since the 90's and have continued to use them with my Fractal gear. IMO they just can't be beat. I use them stacked as my center "dry" cabs along with a pair of Xitone passive wedges "wet" in a W/D/W setup...

    Just keep in mind the Orange manual warns against using it with 4 ohm speaker loads (only 8 &16 ohm loads), so if your cab is 4 ohms your better off getting the SD PS170 or one of my favorites the newer SD PS200.

    FC-12 AND FC-6 Together

    I've been using 2 FC-12 & 1 FC-6 for quite a while now. The first FC-12 has ten preset switches and Bank Up & Bank Down, the FC-6 is used for Scenes, and the second FC-12 is for efx.

    No it doesn't. When dealing with speaker measurements Ohms = Impedance. Impedance and Resistance are not the same.

    I understand those arguments, but being that most modern SS amps (no matter what class) are designed to run at a minimum of 4 ohms and many high dollar amps as low as 2 ohms that argument makes no sense.

    Hi everyone long time reader finally registered . An issue that is getting to me, open to ideas of the cause.

    One point to keep in mind is the fact that the original Mesa Thiele cabs were designed for the EVM -12L speaker (not sure what the current driver is) so it's probably not ideally tuned to the speaker your using anyway.

    Updating the FC's?

    A question for the enlightened....is it just me or is there a way to update both my FC-6 & FC-12 at the same time. Up to this point the only way I've found to update each of the FC's is to connect them one at a time to the Axe III and run the FC update. I'm not complaining, both my FC-6 & FC12...
