    there are times where you can't have 8 blocks going at once. if you are using 2 reverbs and 2 delays at the same time, you will be pretty close to maxing out the CPU. it really depends on the blocks and how CPU intensive they are

    the fat rat sounds great to me and is one of the most versatile pedals in the FX8. i would play around with that one. i think the next batch of G3'ed drives will be added soon so i'm guessing they will sound better overall and will be easier to dial in
