Wife and I saw Andy about 17 years ago in Clearwater FL at a Mesa Boogie Clinic at a store. He was still recovering from being sick but still played like a monster on fire and he could not have been more humble and kind. Great guy and simply one of the best ever.

Got for my bassist to use live and I wanted something to have. Seems cool from testing. Anyone have any thoughts with this for live use? I like that it has a lot of sculpting available and also ins and outs. $267 out the door.

They came with the Ampero mini that I tried out and returned. Toppers somehow stayed behind? Probably sell on Amazon. Thye stay on good and you just push them on. They have surprised me.

Rig complete.....for now...

We play 2 Weezer songs. 1 has Flanger and one has Auto Wah. The 4 button is for Plex Reverb, Multi Delay, Tuner and Banks. Obviously I like a kitchen sink approach for the most part. I like having options on the fly.

Both my kids play sports. Always have. But they may have 1-2 practices and then a game a week. They have fun, learn social and team skills and they build confidence. Playing sports should not be all trying to be a professional.

Saw Living Colour and Extreme last night at Jannus Live in St Pete, FL.

Was NOT impressed with Vernon Reid. I only knew Living Colour's 1 hit, cult of personality, and they did play at the end and was a monster. But Vernon's soloing is like that song, ON EVERYTHING! He alternate picks fast and just makes noise. Each their own.... Nuno was on FIRE though and...

Need to add a exp pedal(far left) to board. That 4 banger box I built using a box from Small Bear Electronics. But I need a box that is taller and skinnier, so I create room for that exp pedal. Ideas? Also can the 1+2 and 3+4 have a tap AND hold function?

The desktop and the iphone and ipad apps are dismal at best IMO. If Apple did not sonically have better sound than Spotify, I would switch. I just think the lack of effort is apparent and over many many many years.

When's the last time you broke a string during a gig?

Once in a decade and it was only because I stopped changing strings as frequently and I broke 1 live. Had I done what I always do, change before every gig and use them at rehearsals and home use. This never failed and when I strayed, it occurred. I buy inexpensive EB strings, so not that big...

If you drag and drop to where you want the global performance to be on the performance page...dragging to the spot can ALSO change the parameter. This is not good and should at least have ability to prelock so you don't easily change the entire parameter while just wanting to move to page for...

Best wifi router for size/money and reach?

Yes, the mixer has built-in Wi-Fi, but it will be drowned out when playing ina large club and lose signal. Known with Touchmix 16. External router was suggested to solve this. I don't know all this contraption jazz with tech....just a little to get by. All this stuff escapes me.

Last practice I had to keep turning scene revert back off and on manually on the physical unit between songs. Really sucks this button is not assignable to FC controller.

I have recently been on a quest to realize that I don't have to choke the fretboard to death to sound a note. It is incredible how hard I was squeezing it. Better stamina and less fatigue now. Simple thing, but I feel most of us don't follow this. Watching Kiko from Megadeth talk about this...

Gapless Switching: Who ditched Scenes for Presets?

Just curious who went back to bank grouping of Presets from prior Scene usage because of Gapless Switching? Main benefit I see being you can easily build a group of presets and then just plug them in with copy, on whatever bank set you are using. Quickly just arrange order of things and use...

So many amps and have 2 amp blocks with 4 channels means 8 amps available in one patch. With an unreal amount of amps that Cliff has blessed us with, I typically have to try and place a drive block in, just to do it sometimes. Just for the hell of it. So many parameters to goose anything with...
