Fun fact: the "edit" led does not turn on by simply selecting a preset created on an earlier firmware. It does have to contain an amp block in order to auto-change values and cause the edited state, it appears.

Happy LG2 owner/user here, too. Since 2008 if memory serves me right. Had to get a new display 1,5 years ago. Service by and communication with Xavier was as great and immediate as ever. Top notch. Really sad to see him quit Gordius officially.

Just put a very clean and single note into it (clean guitar, or higher note from bass guitar, or a sine wave) and listen to the decay. You don't need volume or a strong input signal. The distortion on the decaying note was not related to overdriving the input or turning up the output of the monitor.

Splitting EQ Frequency of guitar input.

+1 on the crossover block I did something similar in combination with the tremolo block(s), where I'd either apply the tremolo to only the upper frequency band, or where I'd use different tremolo settings for the different bands.

I would not consider this cheating. It's kind of established practice and putting the possibilities of technology to use. If you have section A with an acoustic guitar and section B with an electric guitar, would you consider it cheating if you record it one after another because you need time...

I noticed a (to me) new USB driver on the FAS homepage. It says "Jan 30th" but I think I checked regularly throughout past weeks and months and always so the latest driver being from 2018. So I haven't installed it yet. Anyone of you uses this driver and still experiences the problem?

Had this happening again. Unfortunately re-plugging the USB cable doesn't help. This is really annoying! As I mentioned above, the only change here is from Axe-Fx II mk. 1 to Axe-Fx III and I never had this happening with the II.

Closed Blocks bypassed by default on every other scene but the one you're working with when you add it

I fully agree. Makes more sense when creating a big virtual pedalboard or effect rack. Maybe make the behavior optional.

Wish Setting to automatically round block parameters to the nearest whole number

I guess it would be more helpful to the OP to have no numbers displayed at all and instead have an orientation mark on it like the analog counterpart. Rounding to whole values sacrifices a lot just to please the eye instead of the ears.

I guess another reason for Adrian sticking to the Ultra is the amount of time he spent with dialing and perfecting his patches. Those are probably not your typical amp-cab-delay patches but a lot of in depth FX tweaks. I think I even remember him saying something like this in a rig video or so.

Speaking of Mellotron and new gear discoveries: I got me a Nord Stage 2 EX 88 HA at the end of May. I think there went my whole budget for musical stuff for this year :eek: but it was and is well worth it :) Never felt more inspired in front of a keyboard .
