Your experience with Ampero II Stage?

You can change anything within the block between scenes, level, eq etc. but you can't change block type. It's not as eloquent as the AFX but still does so much considering the price.

Hey Burgs, Love your videos, always great tones. Just got a Stage 2 as a backup for my Axe 3. Have you tried using IRs as opposed to cab block? I find the latency is far less noticeable.

Of all the amps in the Axe, the JVM is one that never gets used. For me there are a plethora of better sounding options. This GOT not for me either but I do fully appreciate any offer like this from a very generous company.

How so? If you read my post - I eliminated the BOSS as the problem as it works with the Roland exp pedal. The EV is working with the TRS cable with the Axe. 1 + 1 = 3

Using a TRS cable as I do with the Axe. Yes as stated in my post, coming out of the expression output of the EV 1. Looks like it's not user error this time and the comment above about different wiring must be the reason for the issue.

I play live this way. Guitar 1 into input 1 and so on. I do wonder what the difference I hear/feel between the two. Not sure if it's me or if the inputs need to be set to match each other.

In the past for gigs I brought my laptop using a sample player hooked up to my Morningstar MC6 thru my Axe. Is there an all in one solution where I would not need a laptop? Basically onboard sample memory with midi.

Tried a few over the years. Never found the one for me. Just tried a custom 24 at the local store. Would not stay in tune. Intonation was really great though. Since it had a whammy, (was not using the whammy) are these doomed to never stay in tune?

Problem solved: In Manage Presets I dragged the bank into the browser. Other wise it would not see the directory. What I was doing was Browser > Open Directory > Choose folder Thx a lot Chris - you kicked my brain in the right direction.

So after looking at your video (briefly) I went ahead and assigned two layout 9 switches. What I think I'm missing is after doing that, do I need to assign something on the Axe front panel after the Axe edit assignment? I did this assuming nothing needs to be done on the front panel.

ok. Opened Opened unit. Ribbon cable was loose. Pushed it back. Now input 1 working but still no headphone output. When I unplug the headphones I get a loud pop where I never used to get one.

I have a pair of 108s. I noticed right away that they are very boomy. I cut the low end in the global output of the Axe. Trying to make them "flat" is really not something I think is attainable.

Tips for upgrading OS on studio computer

I am looking at upgrading to an M1 mini. I have read that using Rosetta drastically reduces performance (negates the CPU bump) significantly. Is this not true?

Upgrade from EZD to Superior Drummer??

I own SD2 but can't justify the upgrade cost right now. Can anyone vouch for Steven Slate Drums? Downloaded the free version but interface seems lacking. On the other hand its super cheap right now ($99 USD).

UAD apollo SPDIF to Axe

Considering an Apollo. How does the SPDIF jack from the Axe go into the optical input? From the UAD site: Optical ADAT/SPDIF output for connecting to additional studio equipment An optical jack looks nothing like an SPDIF jack.
