After 9.04 Firmware everything sounds super bad

I've never found my presets changing so much with a firmware upgrade that they went from very nice to something not so nice. Been a couple of times that I didn't really notice anything at all, but most of the time they sound as good or better. In the rare ocassion when I have to adjust, it's...

Windows 10?

I very much prefer windows 7 myself, it's a very stable OS. Don't care for win 10 becase I'm want to have as much of control as possible over my OS and I feel like MS "dumb things down" more and more with every version, removing the control from the user. When my win 7 is done I'll probably go...

Something for the Fractal folks re Pete Thorn

I don't think that Fractal Audio Systems have to give away units so that artists can promote their products :) The quality versatility and tone, and support speaks louder than any review would IMHO I think I've read somewhere here on the forum that everybody pay the same price for the units...

Fractal Bot Hanging on Bank C While Backing Up

I had that same thing happening to me way back, and my solution was to backup 1 bank at the time just like you describe .. it was just a brief thing back with fw8 or 10 or something never had any problem since

Duplicate Marshall amp models?

I think that's because there are some specifik amps chosen because they sounded great or have been modifyed with some popular mods In some cases there have been artists that have been sending their personal amps to be modelled into our great unit. I am not sure if that applies to the amps you...

Horror gig - Axe stopped working mid-gig!

FAS Plexi Shootout

It's hard to pick a favorite they all sounded great. I especially liked the plexi 50, and I think the scene 2 or scene 3 sounded the best on all amps. But they all sounds nice, and to give an opinion I would probably have to listen several times on each to compare. :) have a good one, //ken
