Most trouble-free solution (tracking-wise) for guitar synth?

My initial experience with the long -awaited MIDI Guitar 3 is …VERY buggy and unstable in this early beeta, has frozen my Mac numerous times, and ,deal-breakingly ,no longer has the ability to operate at 48 , only 44.1, which makes digital compatibility with FAS units sucky. Bummer.

    Xitone still in business?

Agreed, but it is particularly disturbing when not that long ago, his level of communication and availability was stellar, and rare in this business, at least in my dealings with him.

    Xitone still in business?

This is all very sad, I was an early customer and still use my MBritt and wedge cabs with no issues, and recommended his site heartily, but whatever issues plagued Mick do seem to have sunk his business and credibility.

What studio monitors were used for the Axe Fx 3 promo or reveal?

as @Rick said, the Meyer wedges that were at AxeFest in Boston few years ago were easily the best I have ever heard…I guess the fact that the players using them included Dweezil, @Mark Day , @2112 Leon, and other stellar cats had something to do with it…

    Virtual Jeff

No doubt there are harmonic nuances that the VJ cannot replicate, and I haven’t had th opportunity to use it at gig volume, but the tactile feel of the VJ trembar goes a long way to enhance the experience….and judicious use of real finger vibrato and bends can create very interesting results.
