    Two reasons. One, I asked the same question to Matrix and they said that the 1600 has a bit more bottom thump, which it does. Also running (2) FRFR 12's, I wanted to have enough power to drive large venues that my band will be playing at soon. You know the quote, 'Too much power is never enough'.

    Ok so I think I get it. If I have 300 presets with one block in them each, I'm ok. But if I have one preset with 12 blocks in it, I'm probable going to have CPU overage depending on the blocks used of course. Correct?

    I've been playing music from my computer thru the axe by USB since version 6 and no problems. Now in version 19 I get high usage or overage warnings and my sound clips, distorts and freezes my axe and even computer. I saw the buffer size is set at 64 and the level at -1 db. Any ideas or help?

    Thanks for all the ideas and responses! What I did for now is assigned it to the filter block and use it as a lead boost cause the switch on the MFC is hard for my big feet to get on and off quickly. Pedal is much easier. I modded some of the parameters and it works real good.
