How to get a boost switch and use it with the MFC-101?

I'd like to have a switch on my MFC-101 that can be used as a boost for lead parts. How do I put a boost into my patch and then how do I assign that boost to the MFC-101? Thanks for all your help. Cheers

Great stuff man. Intro took too long for me. I like to get hooked sooner than later. Mix is kind of thin to my ears. These are very minute and picky details. Great job!

How to load a downloaded preset?

I've downloaded a preset using my MacBook Pro. I show the preset in Finder then copy it. Then I open Axe Manage and try to paste it in a folder I've named various but the paste is greyed out so I don't have that option. Next I tried to drag and drop but that didn't work. Any suggestions?

Hey mgavin, don't want to use usb for a few reasons mainly it doesn't really work well for the setup we are using, a lot of routing. As well I much prefer balanced line outs vs usb.

Hey Rex, Yea, straight up hiss. I will try your suggestion tomorrow morning. We just finished a long rehearsal where I used a gate that cleaned it up but I had to use quite a high ratio and a lot of attack which is really annoying for me.

I'm coming xlr out of my Axe and into an Apogee Ensemble for the purpose of recording. There is quite a bit of spacey hiss coming from the Axe when I monitor the 2 tracks I've put the L & R Axe outputs on. Is this pretty normal? I am running a higher gain patch.

Perhaps a little headway. Using Lukes how to for beginners I am now able to use the toe switch on the SP-1 to turn on and off the wah block but I still don't have any wah control. No sweep with pedal movement.

Dude is selling his coupon on ebay.

Should I be set to L+R sum?

I'm running two 1x12 Cabs and wondering what is the best configuration for a stereo setup. I've gotten a little confused after reading the Wiki and the manual. Any suggestions?

I can't get my expression pedal to work as a wha.

I probably could but I have no idea what to do. Never worked on electronics. If I could get it to work that would be great I definitely need 2 pedals.

Talked to Steve at mission engineering and he says I'll need a part for the SP1-LF to get it to work with the MCF-101. I just ordered an SP-1. Stay tuned.

Yes I'm using an MCF-101. I'm guessing you are correct about the wiring. I'll try it.

I've read a few of the post on here for getting an expression pedal to work but nothing seems to get it done for me. I've followed the manual several time to no avail. I'm using a Mission SP1-LF plugged into expression pedal 2 on the MCF-101 (I did program it while plugged into exp pedal 1 but...

Beginners guide to MFC, Wahwah, Whammy and volume using two pedals

Sorry, this just confused things more for me. 2 cables, switches, making this turn into that.........ugggh! I just want to plug my expression pedal in and use it as a wha.

I Love the Kemper KPA

Really great point. I'm just glad I own a product from a company that never settles for being second best. This stuff takes a long time to develop and I thank God Cliff doesn't sleep :)
