Last power conditioner question, I swear! (this year)

The amps in question are my Vox ad120vth, Vox ad120vt, Vox ac30cch. also powered by my rack: JBL LSR308 MK II's, Korg Pitchblack pro tuner, Axe-fx II, American Audio DB Display MK II, Art Pro mpa II, Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 mk II. Gonna have to calculate this a bit, but I guess it will be fine.

What is the effect?

I hear some kind of chimey rotary. almost like a rotary with crystals. it's kind of organ like, lots or reverb, not much spread width. stuff like that.

When I used amps and mics before the axe-fx II, I would place the sm57 straight (no angle) somewhere between the middle of the cone and the edge of the cone. This placement made a fat super middy holdsworth kind of tone and when I select the sm57 in the axe-fx II it sounds nothing like this. Is...

ah, I see. thanks for being cool about it sounding like shit! hahaha, I'm kidding, see I'm using a bass guitar, I tried with my 8-string guitar tuned to drop-E too but I think the bass guitar sounds better. maybe the ring thing works better for guitars trying to sound like a E0 tuned bass...

Since I don't have a 35+" 6-string bass tuned to E0, I'm now trying to find a way how to make a 4 string bass in normal tuning sound like it's tuned to E0 by pitching it down, and still making it sound good. Are you up for the challenge? here's what I have for now...

I like 2. ML Sound Labs cab pack 13 because it has the least amount of low end flub in the beginning (the most guitar sounding one in the intro) also it sounds better than the others on the riff at 1:49.

I had a B+ time constant epiphany

you could always use it as a way to make rhythm guitar sound more aggressive on low settings like 10ms and lead sound more fluid on 100ms, but for me I'd like to always have it on 100ms because it's a feel thing and the way you hear the note after you pick it, it's like the note gets a bit...

Hard to say, because it affects the sag and tone so it depends if you're using a saging clean tone or a transistor high gain amp etc. In general I would say that it's easier to hear on high gain because if you bend two strings the intermodulation sounds different on different settings, also why...

regarding tone, copy x to y in the amp block, then set the B+ time constant to 1ms vs. 100ms, 10ms vs. 100ms, 30ms vs. 100ms and so on, then A/B the different states with a foot switch or something clicky, so that you don't have to stop playing and can hear the effect without a pause. just...
