You can only do what you can do. And I'm fine with the option you provided. In the next 6 years, when I retire, I plan to go on the road permanently. Therefore, a rack unit like I have now will not work. I'll go to a floor model type. Who knows what will be available then.

Ok. So set me straight. Are those Marshall's version of a Celestion V30? I had both those cabs and I could have sworn they were real Celestion V30's in both. I checked the Marshall link and it shows something different. They change the specs since I owned my cabs?

With all these superb updates, why is it that amps may or may not need reset? Why can't the update process itself update all the amps automatically? Or, have an option to have it done in Axe Edit. Am I missing something?

Thats correct. It never finishes one regardless which one I try. Always shows progression, but the stops and retries. Does it three times and then errors. I don't believe its the cable. It doesn't just go bad sitting there. It's never been touched or moved. Its connected to the Axe. If...

Can't even backup one. Tried. Same setup I've had the entire time. Never moved. Cable is not the issue. Everything else works. Empty preset? I can't even get Fractal Bot to start the process. This is irrelevant.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Still the same. 3 tries at about 50% each complete on System + Global Blocks + FC and then errors on Message timeout. Does the same if I try anything else as well. I cannot backup now which is preventing me to update. I suppose I can try the prior version...

I hear alot about Floyd Rose terms not staying in tune. Most all my guitars have them. They are full floating and I never have any problem with them once the strings settle in. Always in tune and intimated. But, they are all German made real Floys Rose trems. I think that is the difference...

I haven't loaded this firmware yet, but my thought is I would like the new curves vs. the old ones and would not need to revert back to an old preset. For me, I would not see a use for the Null curve.

This is what I was thinking. Original preset would have the old curve. When you switch between 2x12 Vox 30 and Null, the original curve is lost.

AFIII JTM 45 blues with new Gibson SG
