[solved] FC-12 starts at Preset Tempo although preset is set to use Global Tempo

Hi Yes thanks but the situation is still not right! Now the FC 12 follows the global tempo but the front panel tempo light on the Axe FX 3 follows the preset tempo even when for that preset it I set to Global. Opposite to what happened before! The sound follows the FC tempo!

I think the AC30TB in the Fractal sounds less thin than a real one partly because Cliff modified the tone stack so there's more mids in there. Also you can run the virtual Master volume at 10 whereas do that in the real thing and it will be deafening. Choice of IR is important some are brighter...

How do I get this clean sound?

It sounds very bright and clean. Fender twin with low gain setting. Maybe trim off the input. Bright switch on and plenty of high end with roll off of bass. Try a 4x10 or 4x12 cab also.

Bad cat clean channel suggestion

I dont get what all the complaining is about...

Ditto I agree I hear myself cutting through so much better. Better bottom end too. Especially Plexi and Jcm 800. My 2 CLR active wedges also help!! Sounds can be dialled in with great accuracy especially compared to my studio monitors which are very accurate ATC100A It's the best live...

Change Scenes from MFC.. Strange sound, FAS please help!!

Yes I upgraded last night MFC 2.16 and 10.04. Getting chirping sound using MFC on scene changes. Also getting it using the Vol+/Vol- function to set patch levels using IA Please fix this soon as its going to ruin my Sunday when I,m playing loud!

Definitely the CLRs. They are very flat and accurate in the midrange. I'm posting a review soon but compared to my ATC100A monitors which are very high end they perform extremely well. Matrix is good for live playing but how flat and accurate they are for studio purposes is unknown. I suspect...

I created a patch for my Takemine EN40 using the tube pre amp block no cab IR I just used the EQ in the amp block. Got a great sound for recording and live using this James

Let me tell you the only way you can decide is to try all the options for yourself. The Forum is full of opinions some of them informed many not so to the point it's funny. There are also fanboys of particular products who pop up all the time. Decide for yourself by going some critical listening...

What owning the Axe II has taught me is that I have a better idea of what all the real amps sound like and how to tweak/match them to speakers and guitars. My Tom Anderson Drop top sounds great and better than it ever did with my Bad Cat. If i were to go back to an amp it would prob be a Vox...

Another V10 Preview II

Scenes: How many pitch variations can you have?

It'll be 4. 2 pitch blocks is the max you can have in one preset, with X&Y that gives 4 options. I'm using this in one patch with 1 pitch block. X is Classic Whammy Y is Fixed Harmony to detune to -2 semitones. Unbelievably good sound and functionality. You can play a song in D in normal tuning...

Axe fx2 + Matrix gt1000fx + Atomic FRFR wedges

I've tried this. They work really well. They are good cabs and work better with the Atomic 50/50. The Matrix works better with their own cab the CFR12. The atomic amp and cab is well matched. The Mstrix Amp and cab is also well matched.

Atomic 50/50 here. Sounds incredible with 2 passive Atomic FR wedges. Real oomph and loud as anything with awesome highs and a big fat bottom end. A dream to use live. James
