I am able to hear the drums via some bleed through on the Kick and vocal mice. It hasn't been an issue yet. If you have one or two free channels, setting up an ambient mic or using a couple overhead mics on the Drum kit will help out to ensure you are getting enough of the drums.

I assume you are getting this on the MFC? It is probably a bad cat 5 cable or midi cable depending on how you have it hooked up. Replace the cable and you sure be good to go.

Upgrading from STD to II

I was impressed when I moved from my Ultra to the II about a year and a half ago. Since that time, there have been huge improvements with each firmware update. I would think you will be blown away. The dynamics are amazing (especially with FW 11Beta).

lovin it so far, it always sounds good, but it feels really good and I can't stop playing with my vol pot on my guitar with. Did you update any of the drive pedals? Particularly the Eternal Love and BB Pre, I haven't used those in awhile and they sound better than I remember.

Help!!Why all the wahs sound 'gain boosted' by default in FW10.10?

I'm not sure if this helps in terms of audio reference, but I was bored so I created a patch with just Wah, Amp, and Cabinet Block. Using The Trip Tik Clean in the amp block (pardon the playing I was only trying to get some audio in order to hear the difference between clean and wah engaged)...

My mains are PRS Custom 22, Fender Strat (Fralins and tone blender wiring, callaham saddles and trem block), 93 Les Paul Standard). Eyeing a Fano JM6 and a Suhr pro series S2, but have to ensure I keep my job first :-). I played a Custom 24 for many years, It has it's own thing going on.

Where to go from here - Matrix GT 1000 plus Passive FRFRs or QSC K10 1 or 2

If I had to make my Axe FX 2 rig physical I would need a large truck and roadies to get everything set up. For my live rig I use amp blocks for Fender Twin, Mesa MKIV, Friedman HB/HBE and Dirty Shirley, Trainwreck, JTM 45, Divided by 13, Badger, Hiwatt, Customized block using CA3+ in the tone...

Atomic Reactors vs EV, Mackie etc.

I use an EV ELX112 powered by a matrix GT800FX for live use. I love it and v7 sounds glorious through it. I had used a powered atomic about a year ago, but felt that it did not have enough clean headroom.

One Reason to love full FRFR Rigs - portability

MFC lost all settings and won't connect to Ultra AGAIN!
