It was working fine with the axe ll. I hooked up the axe ll XL and now its not workin. Its weird. The tap tempo light is flashing the same on both but its not syncing completely. Its not displaying the names of the patches.

You could just go through the front but it kinda sucks. I just hooked mine up stereo through the power amp section of my other amp with a 2x12, damn it sounded killer. Perfect for a small venue. I also like to just try different stuff.

Why should I switch from the MFC+EXT4MFC to the RJM MMGT22?

Trying to change amp Channels with LF+ Pro+ and Axe. No matter how I hook it up something fails. When I turn off MIDI thru the Axe and LF function perfect. Cliff, would it be possible to have the option of thru or out with a firmware upgrade? Sure would be nice.

When I was trucking, I ran my Axe through the stereo of my Peterbilt. 100 watts, 4 speakers and it sounded killer. My point is, you can make the Axe sound good through just about anything!!

Let me try that. right now in the preset section of the mfc, only the ch2 is active. the rest are off. I did have the amp set to Ch2 but there was a delay. Let me try ch1.

That does make a difference and would almost work. I am kinda done with the CLR. After running the Blackstar and 4x12 I cant go back. Even amp and cab patches through the power amp section of the blackstar sound killer. Anyone wanna buy a CLR

X/Y question

Cause for some reason when I use my Pedalboard extension switchs, I have to push the switch twice to switch from X to Y the first time. After that it works fine until I leave that patch. If I Save the patch with say the delay in the Y state, when I want to switch to X it works fine all the time.

That explains that....thanks When I push the cable all the way in, I loose the output. Again, should the jack that goes into the axe output be a TRS I think I am getting close to finding this problem without having to send it in....I hope!! I am gonna look into the Bestronics jack plate once...

Whats better than a Matrix FR212?

The legacy cabs sound great. I swapped the V30s out for WGS speakers. They dont have that hi midrangey spike that the V30s have. I also go against the kinda rule of thumb and I run with cab sims on and we just went direct to FOH. Sound man loves it

OK, here is where I am goin with this. I went to my friends house (He uses AXe 2 also). He has FRFR setup with an RCF and an Atomic CLR. I use 2 2x12 Legacy cabs with WGS speakers. I also set up my patches with Cab sim ON. I get a killer sound. What I am wondering is, how many of you do this...

I guess if that is how it is gonna work, I need to set Y to be my default. It works correctly if Y is default and X is the secondary. Thats is what I dont get. It works Y X but not X Y. yek, were you referring to the physical switch itself?

I just saved the patch with the delay XY in Y mode, It seems to work correctly. The first click went to X. Is there a way to tell the Axe to select X or Y on the first click of the external switch. But it also does the same thing for bypass. To me, no matter how the patch is saved, the first...

Unless I am missing something, I am wondering if this might be a bug. I just reproduced it with another patch and the #116 Reverb X-Y using a different switch. Same results. also the Bypass switching

Basically I did it to make some room for the PEQ. My thought process was Since I only run one at a time before the amp, that perticular effect would be on and I would be able to control it. I wasnt thinking about the dry signal. I understand what you are sayin though. That line is full, Where...

Thanks Yek, I did get it to work, I set the top button to be the tuner. They are numbered 1-4 from top. #4 I set to amp1 X-Y. If there was something i really liked can I set up any givin switch Globaly So it knows it if I have that givin thing in the patch

No, I got mine about a year ago but was not able to deal with it. Built some cables today and rearranged the board a bit and made it all fit. The talk box is big. I basically opened it up and put a plug wired to the switch so I could plug an external switch in. Now......How to make it...

Finally got it put together now, If I could just get it to work.....Its my problem, nothing to do with the extension. I have been away from my rig for a long time. Starting over. Her is a pic of the board. I just velcro'd it to the MFC and the board. Had to move the talk box and plumb a switch...
