    I have the 36 anniversary’s , I had them for a while and never bonded in any guitar I put them in , until I put them in a guitar I made 33 years ago. Mahogany body with a maple cap. Pure joy, they clean up with the guitar volume nicely

    lots of videos on YouTube , but just look at it like an amp and find a good cab. I have times where I go down the rabbit hole ,but if I don’t like it ,I choose another preset then go back to the one I was on . Just don’t save it until you like it

    I’m lovin the Marshall studio 20 and dirty shirley, ts808 ,classic rock . Always use my guitar volume to clean up . Some amps and depending on what you have for pickups, doesnt alway work. My kind of clean is on the edge of breakup

    The 80’s 550 neck is thinner in width and thickness( I was surprised the 550 is thinner in width at the nut) 550=1.66. JS=1.68 . I had a reissue 550 and got rid of it cause it was so thin and wide.

    Im loving the Marshall studio 20, one of my go to amps now. Cleans up really well with volume( I don’t use treble bleeds on my guitars) this amp for me does the back in black album tones nice, I use with just a touch of reverb

    Yes I’m sure , but when I record I only use reverb, also when I mix I use the eventide plugin on a channel and route my guitar to that channel , I have more control when mixing
