I use a Mesa MK V with the 4CM. Then I went to ch 38someting? that has the 4cm preset. The front end pedals (drive pedals) needed volume lowered just a tad. Haven't had any issues with the effects loop side and my setup is quiet. If you have excess noise try changing cables, also 4cm mode...

AxeFxII + MFC101 + Voodoolab GCX switcher

I had problems getting my MFC101 to work with my RJM RG-16 so I ordered an RJM GT Master Mind which from the videos can do this and more. You might also need something like the mini effects gizmo, effects gizmo, RG-16 (discontinued but not out dated) or rack gizmo which I think is what replaced...

Best wireless system to work with the Axe2?

I have had a Samson, Nady and X2 and now I have a L6 G90 rack. Luv the G90, before I could never get the cable sound I wanted with the others including the X2.

TotalSync is OFF on MFC-101 also tried it ON. Now I have my presets showing up on the Axe and MFC with the preset names scrambled up. Like the Wrecker shows wreccer and Slo100 Lead is SBDB100DEAD, USA lead = USA Dead. WTF? I Did a reset to Factory on the MFC101 didn't change anything. Held...

Yep everything is up to date. MFC101 >cat5>Axe II. Midi Out/Thru to Egnater SS4 > out/thru to RJM Mini amp Switcher. It works if I unplug the MFC101. If I turn midi to omni from ch1 and or turn Out/Thru to on, it screws with my MFC101 and causes both Axe and MFC to flicker and flash then won't...

When I add midi thru on the Axe II Ver 6.0 and have the MFC101 in use with the Ethernet cat45 cable the MFC starts flashing and won't switch presets. I want to run the Midi "Thru" so when I switch a preset on the Axe II it sends that info to my RJM Mini Amp Switcher and Egnater Amp Head...

Tone Matching a direct amp signal w/Behringer Ultra-DI

I run my amps into a palmer PGA-04 then XLR into my Pro Hd XLR mic in usb into my mac and record the amp in garage band. From there you can T M it. If the Behringer di 100 gives you the same set up then record you playing the amp into your recording setup.

Not at all. I think what you said would work. I don't have any experience with your set up. Got a good deal on the Pro Hd while waiting on my AF2, had a M13 years ago and liked some of the cheesy effects in it but it didn't do what I wanted midi wise.

Using the axefx2 as a vocal amp?

I use the L6 pro Hd. It has an XLR mic input. Works for my Palmer PGA-04 in the XLR, can control input, +48 phantom power,pad and has a nice Tube Pre that is great for warming up vocals. USB into the laptop for recording. You also have all the effects and a bunch of vocal only effects.

Who here got rid of ALL of their pedals for Axe-Fx?

I sold 2+ pedal trays and a bunch of (rack gear for an Axe Ultra and have never looked back. There is a recycling bin in the corner of the cave full of cables from the rack that I took out of the signal. I have no idea how many feet that was but…. The Axe II is even better :D

Anyone connecting Axe-Fx out to amp's effect loop return?

I run my Axe II out into the return of my Mesa MK III 1x12 combo and Bogner 20th Xtc/Bogner 4x12 cab. This sounds better to me with a closed 412 cab and open 1x12 sound mixed. I have/had (just sold) an Atomic Active wedge but didn't luv the sound and feel. Maybe I will go with a Atomic 50/50 amp...

MCF101 GCP master/slave question

If I get the MFC can I use my GCP as a Slave through midi off of the MFC101? I can use the MFC for all of my presets and Effects on/off and my GCP as an expansion and control the looper functions when needed? I already have the GCP and it is able to be set up as a slave unit.

anyone with a Randall RT2/50?

I luv mine also. In case you didn't catch on, it is HEAVY!!!!! The + is the tone. I run mine into a TM212(Elite80s) or Bogner XTC 4x12 (V30s) and these cabs seem a bit muddy sometimes. With the presense at 12-3 o'clock it takes that out and sounds amazing.

Using Power conditioner to turn everything on?

I use a monster pro 2500 and 3500. leave everything ON and in order of power up. When I switch the MP2500 on it turns everything on in order and same when powering down.

Ahhhhhh. Did you get close to the Balance tone? I would think a Marshall plexi tweaked like his marshall in amp block 1 ….a CAA+3 amp block 2 and a 5150 amp block 3. Run all 3 amps parallel and on the 5150 run -9 +9 with a Harmony block and start there. What speakers are in a 5150 cab? use...
