Saw Living Colour and Extreme last night at Jannus Live in St Pete, FL.

I saw them in Minneapolis and wasn't impressed with Vernon's soloing either, but the band was extremely tight, (pun intended), and Corey was phenomenal. He really owned the stage. Extreme kicked ass and were a blast to see, hear and experience.

Strap Suggestions for Incoming New Guitar

I tried a couple of the Walker & Williams from Amazon and they didn't last very long. Fraying on the edges, the finish peels off randomly and is pretty messy. I would not recommend them.

I wonder why so many people have problems with their AX8? I've had mine for 2 years and zilch problems.

So the real question is, if your AX8 truly sounds more 'vintage' than your FM9, then why are you selling the AX8 and keeping the FM9?

Yep, the dry air from the furnace is brutal during WI winters so when we replaced the old furnace I had a whole house humidifier added at the same time. Programmable, consistent and not only good for the musical instruments, but better for our health, comfort and well-being.

Yep, pretty cool, but not really all that new. Iommi did it on the intro of Iron Man and Page did it in the beginning of the solo of Heartbreaker. I'm sure there are many other examples of this same technique.

Summer Hacks (potential solution!)

That sounds like the best, cheapest and most versatile approach. I was thinking of maybe 3 separate pieces that I could move one around the FM9 as the sun shifts or velcro them together like the 'garage' idea if it's the middle of the day.

I've been using 3 CLR Neo's for several years now and love them. I know others have had issues with Atomic, but I haven't experienced any of that so far. Tom even called me on a Saturday morning once when I needed help so there is that too. Maybe it's an issue of when we have a bad experience...

I agree. Not very many presets created by others translate well into my system or playing style. However, I do get a wealth of knowledge by studying other people's presets. Many times I find a new way to do something, sometimes I learn what not to do. ;)

btw - I just received a response from MM Support about swapping necks on 2008 and 2011 JP6's Scotty Thanks for playing Music Man! There really should be no reason why you couldn't swap those necks. Necks are sanded by hand and wood can shrink or swell with changes in weather but barring that...

Any EBMM owners?

I have a beat up JP6 from 2008 and found one from 2011 in mint condition for sale, it just doesn't have the shield inlays on the fretboard. Does anyone know if you can swap out the necks between the two years? I'm assuming you can, but wasn't sure if there were any issues to take into...

I had hair to the middle of my back years ago, but I move around a lot while playing and finally got sick of getting a mouthful of hair when making a quick move to the mic to sing. Gagging on your own hair on stage is not a good look.
