    I just tried the exact same thing using scene controller 2 instead of 1 and it only uses 4%. Firmware glitch? Edit: So I went to save my preset and the cpu spiked to 24% usage with the scene controller again.

    I uploaded it, it's labeled DC-30. I tried dialing it in from scratch, using different amps and cabs, starting on a different preset entirely. When I initially add the scene controller the usage is normal until I switch scenes then it goes from 19% to 43%.

    I don't have a splitter off hand to try but they're 300 ohms so I doubt the AX8 could drive them properly. Anyways I've never used S/PDIF so I synced everything up like Sam suggested and it seems to be better now. We'll see after I get a little more time to test it out. Thanks for all the help.

    Yeah I tried doing X/Y switching before I found out about scene controllers. It's really nice that you can assign it to a footswitch but the lag it causes is what lead me to find out about scene controllers in the first place.
