Kemper Player is out, so pretty much all the competition now has a mini 3 button product… still no Fractal FM3 Lite???

I'm waiting for a Fractal to split up the Effects and Amp modelling in two different units that are the size of the newer Kemper player. Pair the FX one with your amp or amp modeller/profiler of your choice. Pair the Amp modelling with the external pedals / multi-fx of your choice.

A while ago I picked up a USB - B to USB A extension adapter for my kemper, so I could plug in a usb drive without turning the kemper around or digging in around the back. Perhaps the same thing would work here.

I'm a regular here and my vote would be to keep your Helix! :) If it was readily available, you may have more to consider but at this point your choice is to keep your HX or wait an unknown amount of time without anything to replace your HX. Are you on the waitlist?

I’m looking at picking up an amp in the near future for basic tones, and a since the amp happens to be midi channel switchable I may try a 4 cable method with everything controlled via the FM3 through a FC-6. Possible? It definitely will be the centre of my home recording, though!

This is true. I just find I get bored easily lol. I'm also a big fan of Nick's playing style so I think it'd be more of an interesting way to learn how he utilizes it in his approach, etc. But, based on your suggestion I might try to get back into that!

There is no ETA. I don't think we'll know until it actually is launched. Perhaps then you'll have an indication regarding ETAs for Europe.

Axe-Fx III pricing - What is going on?

With the price most people (especially north of the border, here) are asking for their III’s, I’m getting closer to just wanting to order a new one and supporting Fractal directly. At $1999 it’s definitely more enticing. B-stocks soon, hopefully! 😁
