Wish Locking the Main Output Level.

Workaround: turn up the Output Level knob all the way. Secure it with tape. Now go to the global EQs and in each one EQ turn the Gain down to the maximum level you want.

It could be a 'corrupt' user cab slot, even if it shows up as empty. I have experienced such a thing in the past. Try clearing it in Manage Cabs (right click > Clear). Or use Fractal-Bot to send a valid IR to that slot.

My guess is that those who are reporting large CPU decreases, were using Amp blocks with CPU-heavy tweaks, such as some Speaker parameters, Output Compression etc. By resetting the amp block, as advised in the current release notes, those parameters are reset to default, and therefore release...

I'm just testing the near final Public Beta. The testers of earlier betas have a MUCH harder job. How about just this: Re-Save All Presets under Current Firmware Because that's what it does (and by doing that, the preset revision numbers are updated). And then explain it in the manual.

Behringer X32Rack or something else?

What I do love about the Behringer is the ability to connect a personal mini mixer for each musician: P-16M. That's awesome and decreases the need for a lot of AUX busses. I see them a lot in studios. The costs add up, of course. Especially if you want to expand through a P-16I / P-16D.

I got fed up with digital mixing so I bought a Yamaha MG XU. Fulfills my needs, with a 4-piece band. Effects are basic but sufficient. The compressor per channel is a great feature.

The FM9 has a global option: Startup Preset. I don’t know why the FM3 and III don’t have it. If Startup Preset is linked to an empty preset, the goal is achieved: a silent device after powering up.
