H-Reverb Or Valhalla - Reverb Plugins Choice Dilemma

If any plugin gurus are in the audience and wouldn't mind advising, my choice today is between different reverb methods/technologies. So far I like Valhalla Room for only $50 (gives halls etc. as well):

https://valhalladsp.com/shop/reverb/valhalla-room/

Or Waves H-Reverb (new convolution-related method?)for $149:

Must I have to have the newest and greatest? Or is Valhalla so good it can't be improved on?

Budget is limited, and if anyone has tried both plugins I could use a black Friday piece of advice.

Thank you for any comment, snarky quip, or ...

See you at the virtual GAS mall.

I personally prefer the H-Reverb from Waves over Valhalla Room.

The price is good on the FAS reverb plug though. From the online descriptions so far, I would give the FAS verb a go if I was reverb-less

Both are great, H-Reverb is more versatile, but Valhalla is faster to use IMO.
I'd recommend checking out their Vintage Verb, too (that's my fave of them).

Thanks! I just bought H-verb. Didnt know Fractal made reverb plugs.

Its for Synful Orchestra 2.5 beta of all things. I'm learning soundtrack composing. Synful doesn't have its own reverb, lol. Its made by some reclusive workaholic probably genius type, who well own a cat, and borrow orchestra instruments the way Cliff borrows amps, cabs, and maybe small electronics test bed equipment.

Valhalla sounded Anazing with it. They let u change the vibrato rate in real time, can turn on realistic portamento legato by degree for trumpet and trombone (it calls it something else, trilling or something) and it models a number of characteristics via midi note stream interpretation. My phone is freezing. I hope H-Reverb sounds as good as Valhalla...
