Can you make light go green to red like on TUNER?

You know how the TUNER button is capable of being both colors? I want to do that for my #16 which I use for rotary.

In my rotary patch I have the RATE set to be controlled by EXT 7

On the MFC I have IA 16 set to NONE

I have no idea if I did anything else to make this work, can't remember or figure it out.

Anyway, my faster Leslie sound is with the light OFF and my slower is with the green light ON.

I'd like to have the light always on, like the TUNER, thus telling me the status of speed via color.

I think the Red is only available for the IAs with an Axe function programmed and it only shows Bypass status.

Any other switch use is Off or Green.

This is how I understand it too. If you set the IA to none, you can't have the red LED.

Is there another way? I only set it to NONE because that was the only way I could figure out to get an IA to ramp up and down the rotation speed.

I'm willing to configure it another way that would give both LED options.

I have a confusing soltuion for that problem.

Add another block in the grid somewhere in an empty field without connection to the other blocks, a block with low cpu usage and that you usually don't use at all. Like filter4 or so?
Because this one just needs to mirror the state of your switch and has no audio function.
Now assign the cc number of that block (FLT4?) in the midi ctrl menu of the Axe-Fx to the same number as your EXT7. Then assign the IA function of your switch 16 to that block (FLT4).

Whenever you step on your switch 16 it turns on/off that block (FLT4) and therefore the color changes. Since your rotary is controlled by EXT7 and EXT7 is controlled by the same cc commands, it is also controlled by the same switch.

If you want to have the color scheme the other way round you can invert the curve of EXT7 in the modifier menu of the rotary.
