    Phantom power and guitar-cable.com

So i unfortunately was unfortunate enough to buy the MFC 101 without the new Ethercon jack FAS started installing on their boards. So my ethernet jack is broken so im forced to go with midi and phantom power. Im kind of confused as to how this works. Heres a link to all the phantom power and midi cables, but im not sure which 1 to use for what i need. Does the DC that comes out of the cable go into the back of the AXE II or does that go into the MFC and the phantom AC go into the AXE II. Is you use the Phantom AC and buy a 7 pin cable does that eliminate having to get the DC that comes out of the cable? Sorry if this is a no brainer..

Also is there a way to mod the MFC to put the ethercon into the board like they have it now? Ive seen a picture of someone doing it, just no how to's..

Thank you in advance for your help!!

you need a 7 pin to 7 pin. You plug the 9v adapter into the back of the axe and it feeds power throught the 7 pin midi cable to the axe

Has anyone tried the Hosa 7-Pin Phantom MIDI Cable?
