AxeEdit 1.0.317 Patched for new amptypes

Hi guys,
While waiting for TNP AxeEdit, some of us (including me) still use AxeEdit 317 for light modifications on patches.
BE AWARE USING AXEEDIT 317 (or lower) WITH FIRMWARE 8 AND 9 CAN CORRUPT YOUR PRESETS OR YOUR AXEFX !

Neither FAS nor me can be taken responsible for any problem caused by the use of AxeEdit in such circumstances.
For users not understanding what is implied, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS !

Ok, now you've been warned, here is a default.profile file modified to allow AxeEdit to show/use the new amp types.
Place this file in C:\Program Files\Fractal Audio\Axe-Edit 1.0\Configs\II\ (for Windows, don't know where to put it for Macs...)

what are the functions that work with the old axe edit and the newest firmware ? I have a V9.02 box and would love to get going with axe-edit.....
is axe edit just an interfaced sysex sender?

well most things work but the big problem is it corrupts presets sometimes and corrupted ones only can ve retrieved via a backup restore...
maybe we should continue discussing in French via PM

Thanks for putting together this file, but not working for me on Windows 7.
Dir C:\Program Files\Fractal Audio\Axe-Edit 1.0\Configs\II\ which I assume for Win 7 is actually should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Fractal Audio\Axe-Edit 1.0\Configs\II\ contains the file default.axeml. I have tried simply adding the new default.profile file to that directory and renaming the new file to replace the old. Neither worked.

Suggestions?

I'm on Windows7, simply put the file in C:\Program Files\Fractal Audio\Axe-Edit 1.0\Profiles\II, dont rename it, it works here

Thanks. Using that directory I was able to get it to work sort of. Note your original post states the target path for the file as C:\Program Files\Fractal Audio\Axe-Edit 1.0\Configs\II\
After placing in the Profiles/II directory, the new amps do show up in the list and I am able to select them. However, after selecting one of the new amps and saving the patch, the amp type displayed in Axe Edit reverts back to 59 Bassguy.
Guess I better be patient and wait for v2.0 public beta.

Yes it shows bassguy but it still uses the good amp, that's why AE is beeing re-worked
By the way it lets you try new amps without breaking your back to access the front-panel
