A thought on sharing tone match patches

I just tried my first tone matches tonight. I was trying the "tone match a recording of an acoustic" thing. After doing so it looks like the Reference and Local captures are saved with the patch. Have you guys thought of sharing patches with just the Reference capture saved? Doing that, others could capture their own Local stimulus and thus tone match to their own instrument. Thoughts?

Ok. I haven't really read much about it and I'm just now getting started trying to do a few. I was just surprised to see the traces stored and thought that might be possible.

I'm hoping that one day we'll be able to backup all the matching data into axe edit, so that people can share the reference files.

Yeah me too, but this as well as 4X4 or 4X3 reamping & possibly convolution quality reverbs(maybe a stretch!) will have to wait for the next generation high end Axe-Fx unit, not the scaled down version that's coming next!
