    AXE-FEST 2012 UNITED KINGDOM - 3rd-4th Nov - Bicester, Oxfordshire

It is proposed that we'll have nice little look/see and a chance to have a bit of a hands on at a nice little pub I know. They may even be a jam sesh and social in the evening of the Saturday.

It looks like it'll be on the first weekend of November.

    Who is interested?

This could escalate like the Cali one ..... it could end up needing the local British Legion hall if you're not careful!

    Cool if it happened tho!

Pretty sure I could do that weekend and I'm only up the road in Brum.
Never mind GAS, I now suffer from FAS!

AxeFX II, MFC-101, Matrix Power Amps and Cabs, Gibson Les Paul, sorted!

Is this for people who haven't yet purchased an Axe, or for existing users sharing their wisdom/presets/setups, etc.? I'm not too far away (nr. Huntingdon).

Damn. I just noticed this is slated for Mon/Tue (if accurate). That's an odd time to schedule it, and rules out my availability as I teach weekday evenings. Which Saturday is the OP referring to?

I think Chris might have put the wrong dates in by mistake?

It is for all the above. Things will get tied down closer to the time, once we have an idea of who we have coming.

Hey mate! Would love to come - only caveat being that if there are fireworks displays on (Guy Fawkes and all that), then I'll be doing stuff with the kids.

Never sure what happens if the 5th falls after the weekend - i.e. do they do the shows the weekend before or the weekend after...

If I am in the UK that weekend I would come along. I won't be able to say for sure for another week or two.

Sounds good, what would we bring? I'd prefer non Friday or Saturday as a lot of us would be gigging.

Oh Cris - you need to fix the dates in the Sticky Title

The idea being a general get together, bring your rigs (or not) check out various amplification and control solutions. Get hints/tips from the bigger hitters, try each others presets etc. for those without AFXs its a chance to try both Fractal and Matrix products (even if Mat doesnt make it with a 1000 and some cabs, there will be a couple of GT800s at least), and spend some time with those who know how to tweek the system - and generally have a big social.
